In 2019 Ellen graduated from Wittenberg University, Springfield, Ohio, with a BS in biology. From there, she worked at Wichita State University's technical Institute (WSUTech) as the Director of Tutoring for the health sciences. As a graduate student here at Wright State, she has worked with Dr. Hongmei Li-Byarlay of Central State University on genetic research of the aggression of African honeybees. Now, she is starting a new role with Dr. William Romine of Wright State on evolutionary education. As well as working toward her degree, she enjoys moonlighting as a server at Ohio's oldest tavern: Ye Olde Trail Tavern, Yellow Springs, and going on adventures with her family and friends.
