The following requirements must be met to become a mathematics or statistics major:
- 16 semester credit hours earned
- 2.0 over-all GPA
- Grade of "C" or higher in MTH 2300
- Students majoring in math are expected to be admitted to the College of Science & Mathematics by the end of their 4th semester.
