The Dayton Daily News recently interviewed Mr. Kevin D. Schmidt, 2011 graduate of the Behavioral Neuroscience concentration in Psychology. Kevin is currently Research Lead for bench level translational neuroscience in the AFRL 711th Human Performance Wing with an active grant in genetics, physical training, nutrition, and bioinformatics. Mr. Schmidt manages $27M in extramural and intramural research projects across the government, private, and academic sectors while also proudly serving as AFRL Junior Force Council Corporate Board President. Upon graduating from Wright State, Mr. Schmidt received a Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) scholarship toward earning a MA in Psychology: Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience from George Mason University. Kevin will be starting his PhD in Psychology: Brain, Behavior, and Cognition at Northwestern University Fall 2017.
