A review of Dr. John Flach's book, “What Matters”, will appear in the February Issue of Frontiers in Psychology. The book explores some of the metaphysical and theoretical assumptions underlying cognitive science and design. Also, Dr. John Flach has been invited to be the Keynote speaker at the Swedish Cognitive Science Society Conference in Uppsala, October 26-27th, 2017 and to participate with a presentation in a one-day conference on Rationality in Perception and Cognition on October 28th, 2017. These two conferences are a co-ordination between the Departments of Psychology and Information Technology at Uppsala in order to bring together some of the top scientists in the areas of Cognitive Psychology and Cognitive Science.
