About

Roselle Almazan

My name is Roselle Almazan, and I am a Biological Sciences major with a pre-med track. As the Senator of the College of Science and Math, I serve as the liaison between Dean’s Circle and the Student Government Association. I am excited to work with students to represent and address matters important to them. In addition, I am an undergraduate researcher in Dr. Zhong’s lab, where I am working to identify regulatory genes of cell survival under respiratory growth and starvation conditions by developing a genome-wide overexpression genetic screening pipeline. I am also the president of the C.J. McLin Jr. Scholars Association, a service-based organization dedicated to representing diversity. I look forward to serving the college and listening to the bright ideas of fellow students, so if you have any questions, issues, or concerns, feel free to reach out to me.
