Forty-four STEM students are receiving scholarship support, thanks to Wright State alumna Delores Etter and her husband, Jerry.

Deborah Loewer will discuss her military career and her Wright State experience on March 25 at 6 p.m. on Webex.

The Dayton and Lake Campuses will hold multiple commencement ceremonies at the end of the Spring Semester, which concludes April 30.

Ricky Peters '84 received a bachelor's degree in systems engineering, and Brittney C. Whiteside '07, '12 received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling.

"To earn a college degree is a monumental achievement in its own right, but to complete it during a global pandemic is nothing short of heroic," Edwards told graduates. "You are inspirational."

Wright State will broadcast the virtual fall commencement ceremony on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube beginning at 10 am on Saturday, Dec. 12.

Four people with Wright State connections, including two faculty members, will speak during TEDxDayton 2020.

The virtual ceremony will celebrate Dayton Campus spring 2020 graduates and Lake Campus summer 2019 through spring 2020 graduates.

Computer coding, research, teamwork and critical thinking were among the professional skills sharpened by Wright State students and graduates who interned at CareSource.
