Each year Wright State recognizes select faculty members for their outstanding work in the classroom and for excellence in research, community engagement, professional service and early career achievement.

Students, faculty and staff at Wright State’s Dayton Campus are able to call university police at the touch of a button.

With the help of 500 volunteers and 110 golf carts, more than 1,600 first-year students brought their belongings to Wright State during Move-In Day.

Move-in Day on Wright State’s Dayton Campus began at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, as 1,600 new students arrived at their new home.

Much of the Wright State community will help new students move into residence halls and on-campus apartments during Move-In Day Aug. 25.

In the lab of Department of Neuroscience Cell Biology & Physiology associate professor David R.

Dr. Deibel was promoted to Associate Professor in 2013. His research interests include ultrafast and terahertz spectroscopy and imaging, computational electromagnetics, and the characterization of novel materials.

Established as an independent university in 1967, Wright State received its initial accreditation in 1968 and has been continuously accredited since that time.

Critical components of the sensing are being fabricated and tested in Wright State’s Neuroscience Engineering Collaboration Building.
