Wright State University honored more than 2,100 graduating students at its spring commencement ceremony April 29 in the Wright State Nutter Center.

Cliff Rosenberger, the speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives and a 2012 Wright State graduate, gave the commencement address.

Sabrina Metzger, an M.D./Ph.D. student at the Boonshoft School of Medicine, is searching for targeted treatments for myotonia congenita.

The ceremony begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, in the Wright State Nutter Center.

The class includes graduates with 1,346 bachelor’s degrees and 766 master’s as well those awarded associate degrees and post-master’s certificates.

Kwang-Jin Cho, assistant professor of biochemistry and molecular biology, is working to find better anti-cancer drugs in his lab.

The Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, which will be offered beginning fall semester 2017, emphasizes how fields of science and mathematics can be applied to neuroscience.
