Path to Health Professions Day

Exploring careers in health care

The 12th annual Path to Health Professions Day was held on Monday, February 15, 2016. The event is hosted by the College of Science and Mathematics Pre-Health Program and offers Ohio high school students and undergraduate students the opportunity to learn more about career opportunities in health care. Despite unfavorable weather and travel conditions, more than 200 attendees and 38 presenters and exhibitors gathered in the Student Union. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about careers in health care through 20 different informational sessions as well as professional programs in Ohio at the exhibit fair.

The Path to Health Professions event featured exhibits by Wright State University, the Boonshoft School of Medicine, The Ohio State University, Case Western Reserve University, University of Dayton, University of Cincinnati, Ohio University, Mount St. Joseph University, Marion University and the Kettering College of Medical Arts. More than 130 attendees toured Wright State and the Boonshoft School of Medicine during their visit.
