Congratulations to Grady Burkett

On Friday, February 26, 2016, the Office of Alumni Relations hosted the 2016 Outstanding Alumni College Awards. The College of Science and Mathematics was pleased to recognize Department of Mathematics and Statistics alumnus Grady Burkett, CFA, '02 B.S., '04 M.S. as our 2016 award winner.

Burkett works as a portfolio manager and research analyst at Diamond Hill Capital Management in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to Diamond Hill, he spent seven years at Chicago-based investment research firm Morningstar where he worked in various roles, including Director and Strategist of the technology equity research team.

He completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees in mathematics from Wright State University where he served as a graduate teaching assistant and a research assistant with the support of Dr. Arasu. Grady has also held the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst® since 2010.

Burkett lives in Dublin, Ohio with his wife Dana and two daughters, Lauren and Leah. He enjoys movies and running, and has completed the Columbus Marathon and Half Marathon since moving back to Ohio in 2014.
