Mr. Kevin D. Schmidt is currently Research Lead for bench level translational neuroscience in the AFRL 711th Human Performance Wing with an active grant in genetics, physical training, nutrition, and bioinformatics. Mr. Schmidt was employed by AFRL in FY14 upon graduating the AFRL Center of Excellence at George Mason University through the Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) scholarship program. Mr. Schmidt manages $27M in extramural and intramural research projects across the government, private, and academic sectors while also proudly serving as AFRL JFC Corporate Board President. Kevin will be starting his PhD in Psychology: Brain, Behavior, and Cognition at Northwestern University Fall 2017.
