Andrew Voss

Department of Biological Sciences

Dr. Voss' laboratory examines mammalian neuromuscular and muscle physiology using electrophysiology, pharmacology, biochemistry, and optics. They recently discovered ion channel and mRNA processing defects in Huntington’s disease skeletal muscle that may help explain the motor symptoms of this devastating disease (PNAS 2013, vol. 110 no. 22, 9160-65).
