The College of Science and Mathematics (CoSM) has 25 degree programs, 1600 undergraduates, over 250 graduate students, and graduates 5-10 Ph.D. professionals per year. General education requirements specify mathematics and science classes allowing CoSM to reach every student at Wright State University.

There are 150 faculty within the college. CoSM faculty were awarded funds (over $10 million) to conduct basic and applied research in many disciplines, helping to fuel the local economy. Our faculty directly engage and mentor students in undergraduate research and help prepare students for professional careers and jobs of tomorrow.

The variety of departments provide our college with a unique blend of disciplines such as: human factors to neuroscience, polymer chemistry to biochemistry, sensor development to sensory perception, and computational modeling of ecosystems to water percolation in soils.

With a long tradition of helping first-generation and underrepresented students earn their college degrees, The College of Science and Mathematics is committed to the success of our students by providing hands-on research opportunities and real-world experience.
