New Chair Eric Bennett

Dr. Eric Bennett (pictured) has been named the new chair of the Department of Neuroscience, Cell Biology and Physiology. His term will begin October 1, 2016. Learn more about the new chair.

 

 

Robert Putnam’s Lab

Putman_journal image.jpgNeuroscience Cell biology & Physiology Professor Dr. Robert W. Putman has been published twice in the last four months. In June 2016, Dr. Putman and other scientists had “Anatomical and functional connections between the locus coeruleus and the nucleus tractus solitarius in neonatal rats” published in Neuroscience

Along with his peers, Putman also co-authored “Microglial Acid Sensing Regulates Carbon Dioxide-Evoked Fear” which was featured in May 2016's Biological Psychiatry.
