When did you know that you wanted to be a scientist/mathematician?
After a brief career planning period where my desired career was a Space Firefighter, I was leaning toward engineering for most of my childhood. I got to play with lasers during a summer internship and have been a physicist since then.
What advice would you give yourself at 20-years-old?
-Find a path for your life that when you tell everyone else about it, you are excited to do so.
-Embrace opportunities, especially the unexpected ones.
-Embrace the world beyond the one you are comfortable with.
-Don’t be afraid to dream.
