A dog (corgi) and a cat (kind unknown, but we suspect she has some Siamese in her since she is very talkative).

When did you know that you wanted to be a scientist/mathematician?

When I was a freshman in college, decided I wanted to be a mathematician.

What advice would you give yourself at 20-years-old?

Enjoy your college years. You never have the same amount of time to enjoy learning for the sheer joy of learning ever again in your life. Also: no decision is as final as it seems. There are always alternatives.

Who is your childhood hero?

Hmm...I don't think I had one
