MTH 6550 - Advanced Linear Algebra

Basic principles of linear independence, spanning sets, bases, and dimension. Linear transformations, matrix representations of linear transformations, and determinants. Spectral theory of square matrices, Jordan canonical form. Perron-Frobenius results on positive matrices.
Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level MTH 2530 Minimum Grade of D and Undergraduate level MTH 2800 Minimum Grade of D
Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional.
