EES 3450 - Concepts in Earth Science I for EducatorsCredit Hour(s): 4 Introductory survey of geoscience. Rocks and minerals, plate tectonics, earthquakes, volcanism, geologic time, oceanography, water resources, and planetary science are explored. Lecture is interspersed with hands-on activities intended to reinforce concepts and to provide the students with ideas for teaching their own classes. Students will develop Earth Science lesson plans.
