In the January 2014 issue of The Industrial Organizational Psychologist, the Wright State University Department of Psychology Industrial Organizational Doctoral Program was ranked 20th out of 60 programs evaluated in research productivity between 2003 and 2012 based on top ten I-O Psychology-oriented journals. This ranking is an improvement of 23 positions from the previous productivity study for 1999 to 2003 and shows the quality research being conducted at Wright State in Industrial Organizational Psychology. The article “An Evaluation of Research Productivity Among I-O Psychology Doctoral Programs” (Beiler, et al, 2014) used a multifaceted approach focusing on objective indicators of performance to measure research productivity associated with industrial organizational psychology doctoral programs in U.S. based and international schools.
