- CHM 1210 General Chemistry I: Examination of chemical principles such as atomic structure, bonding models, chemical structures, basic reactions, stoichiometry, and basic concepts in organic chemistry.
- CHM 4680/6680 Experimental Nanomaterials and Nanoscience: Laboratory experiments include fabrication of nanomaterials such as metal nanoparticles and graphene nanoplatelets; characterization of physical and chemical properties by using techniques such as Raman spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, terahertz spectroscopy, electrochemical analyses and computational modeling of nanoscale physical phenomena.
